In Memory

Pam A. Torgersen (Bjerke)

Pam Torgersen (Bjerke) passed away 4/2/2011. Pam fought a courageous eleven year battle with breast cancer beginning in early 2000 when she was diagnosed at stage three. Her strength, resolve, selflessness, sweetness and caring has been an inspiration to us all. Please keep her husband Jim (my brother), daughter Cara (14), and best friend Brenda Sams (Pilger) (JFK class of '78) in your thoughts. Our class just took a serious hit. Pam was the best; I was fortunate to have her in my life...

Sincerely- Pete Bjerke

So sorry to hear of Pam's passing. I remember going to Sunday School at Oxboro Free church so many years ago, I believe Pam was one of the friendly faces that I could look forward to seeing each Sunday and sit by her in class. Although junior high - high school I didn't see her as much, I remember what a nice person she was from my earlier times; I was able to connect with her in our younger days!
I am sure she is missed by so many others that have memories they were not able to share. She was a very special person indeed!
